The Canyons are home to a variety of tough, well adapted plants that help prevent erosion, provide food and shelter for local wildlife and are often fragrant and beautiful too!
In this workshop we will work with plants found locally in the Hollywood Hills – lemonade berry (Rhus integrifolia), California sagebrush (Artemesia californica), and black sage (Salvia mellifera) – and learn how to propagate them via cuttings. Each participant will go home with a small tray of plants to care for and, of course, instructions on how to do so.
We ask for a $10 donation to cover the cost of materials. Please do so by Wednesday, March 18 so that we can plan for adequate supplies.
