Our Hollywood Orchard stone fruit trees have finally brought us a sizable harvest, we have recently picked and placed in cold storage Apriums, Plums, and Nectaplums. But now we need to put them to use.

Join us on August 3rd from 9AM-1PM for our first ever Stone Fruit Jam Slam! Together, we will pick the remaining ripe Nectaplums at the Birdhouse and turn all our fruit into jam, fruit butters, and delicious tarts. It will be a fun day to:

  • Pick some nectaplums

  • Make jams and fruit butters (Recipes currently under development by Orchard jammologist, Emma Stark)

  • Assemble and enjoy stone fruit tarts

  • Enjoy light refreshments and beverages

Please bring an offering to share, and a jar/bag to take extra fruit home with you. Canning jars for jams will be provided by Hollywood Orchard.
