Weekend Tree-age

Did you know that over the last 3 years, we've planted over 50 new fruit trees in Beachwood Canyon? Now that the winter months are nearly upon us, we need to do some much-needed maintenance to make sure that they're in top shape. Please join us for an epic Tree-age weekend.

We'll be kicking it off at Cheremoya Elementary School on Saturday, December 10th at 9AM. There, we'll be tending to the trees we planted this past Spring, as well as the other fruit trees that live on the property. Making sure that these trees are well cared for and thriving for not only benefits the students and faculty at the school, but also the Franklin Village community.

On Sunday, December 11th, we'll be focusing on the other trees that are spread across Beachwood Canyon, including those in our Mini Grove. We'll need a lot of hands on deck for this work, and we really hope you can join us. The teamwork and community effort that goes into planting new drought-tolerant trees in our neighborhood each Spring always makes for a fulfilling day, but we can't forget that making sure they stay healthy is our greater responsibility. Join us for both days, or just one. But, please, join us. Now let's get out there and care for our trees.
