Fall Tree Walk

  • Glen Green St Los Angeles, CA, 90068 United States (map)

Over 20 varieties of trees have been planted through our Diggin' In Project in the past two years, and Fall is the perfect time to check on them. We're looking for some volunteers to make the journey with us. Some of the terrain is challenging, and all volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, gloves, and walking sticks. We'll be hiking the ridgeline and making sure our newest trees are receiving enough water and food and are properly protected from the hungry deer in the area. We'll meet in the cul-de-sac end of Glen Green at 9:00 am (the part of the street that veers to the left and ends near the mini grove) and try to finish up around 11:00 am -- before the heat sets in. Hanging out with neighbors, exploring the area, and checking up on our newest trees? What a perfect way to start your weekend. We hope to see you there!

If you must drive, please park on Beachwood Drive. We'll be meeting at the end of Glen Green Street. The street veers to the left and ends in a separate cul-de-sac where we started our mini grove. Let's gather there!
